To help scale our growth in new and existing markets Automata is looking for an experienced Demand Generation Manager to develop, implement, track and optimize marketing campaigns across our digital channels.

Why this role is important to Automata 

This role sits within Marketing and the wider Commercial team and contributes to revenue generated from both new and existing customers by developing effective campaigns and initiatives spanning SEO, paid search, email and social media.

About the role 

You will be responsible for planning and executing digital marketing campaigns and initiatives (including website, SEO, email, paid advertising and social media) and measuring and reporting on the performance of those campaigns. 

  • Plan and execute digital marketing activity, including SEO, paid advertising, email, nurture campaigns and social media
  • Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)
  • Identify trends and insights, and optimise spend and performance based on the insights
  • Propose and implement new and creative growth strategies based on data and insights
  • Plan, execute, and measure website conversion experiments and conversion tests
  • Collaborate with colleagues (eg our designer and content manager) to create landing pages and optimise user experience and conversion
  • Utilise analytics and data to understand and optimise end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels touch points through the funnel
  • Collaborate with our agency and vendor partners (eg SEO, paid search, Hubspot)
  • Evaluate emerging marketing technologies and provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate
  • Work closely with other departments to build cross-functional cohesion and lead cross-departmental initiatives.

What it takes

  • 5+ years experience in demand generation / digital marketing in B2B
  • Demonstrable experience leading and managing successful campaigns and initiatives spanning SEO, paid search, email and social media
  • Experience in building and optimising landing pages and user funnels
  • Experience with A/B testing and multivariate experiments
  • Good working knowledge of website analytics tools 
  • Experience working with Hubspot (with Hubspot training/certification a bonus)
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement
