Automata is building a world class company and disrupting the automation industry with Eva, the first low cost high functioning Industrial Automation Robot.

Why is this role important for Automata?

Having great products is no use if it's not in the right place at the right time.  We need someone that's world class at mixed package courier movements and understands what makes the logistics business tick. 

In this role, you will be:

Pick and Packing 

  • Association of order specific material to correct outbound orders
  • Tracking of purchased special materials linked to orders/projects due to ship
  • Generate picking lists/Order flush
  • Picking standard product from storage to meet order required dates
  • Receipting standard and project stock and putaway
  • Investigations into short picks or missing stock
  • Conducting routine Stock Takes/Counts
  • Packing wrapping and labelling of material
  • Kitting of material into sales order kits.

Dealing with Admin

  • Generate,Collate,Check Dispatch lists.
  • Update stock system after order picks.
  • Booking and coordinating outbound shipments.
  • Tracking order to confirm material delivery
  • Collation of POD’s to confirm customer delivery.
  • Closing orders after receipt of POD.
  • Update commercial team regarding order shipment status/dispatches/delays/missing items
  • Printing Logistics documentation and forwarding to customers
  • Preparation of customs information for shipment
  • Resolving freight forwarders queries.
  • Generating Commercial invoices for shipping and dealing with export documentation.

Developing Operations Infrastructure

  • Review and develop systems to improve efficiency
  • Assist in selection of software for logistics operations
  • Develop physical infrastructure [cage/racks/label printers and document systems] 

What it takes:

You can make sure that the following are delivered each time, everytime :-

  • Clear vision of customer service.
  • Experience of working with project purchase or fulfilment .
  • Experience with WMS software.
  • Experience of scheduling international parcel movements
  • Desire to create excellence.

  • Technical Homework Challenge (we ask candidates to submit a response within 2 days prior to the 2nd interview)
  • 1hr onsite interview manufacturing team
  • 30 min remote, meeting with some of the wider teams
