We are looking for a Technical Solution Architect whose mission is to be the singular owner specifying and communicating the technical deliverables for our customer .

Why is this role important for Automata?

Automata's production team is growing to meet an increased demand in automation from our clients in the life sciences industry. We need highly skilled and experienced engineers to capture customer requirements and guide our software resources to suitable solutions.

In this role you will be responsible for:

• Engage with customers on meetings and calls
• Publish technical software specifications for upstream and downstream systems
• Communicate technical designs to internal and external stakeholders
• Communicate gaps in platform to relevant owners and stakeholders
• Work closely with project managers to plan engineering activities, identify resource requirements and technical risks
• Break down system requirements into discrete engineering tasks
• Work with engineering managers to prioritise engineering activities and secure the required resources

What it takes:

• Previous experience developing software solutions on complex projects
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient with technical writing and reporting

Nice to haves:

• Coding skills
• Infrastructure experience
• Hardware experience
