We are looking for a Software Development Engineer whose mission is to develop and deploy new customer workflows and debug existing workflows.

You will help us demonstrate the power of automation in our customer's labs.

In this role you will:

• Work with other engineers as part of a cross-functional team developing software for life science applications
• Take customer requirements from concepts and POCs to fully working production models
• Collaborate with the wider software engineering team to build lower-level components if needed
• Test and debugg automation software
• Participate in validation activities for the deployment of our solutions

What it takes:

• Strong programming skills - preferably Python
• Experience working with GitHub
• Familiar with automated testing frameworks (preferably pytest)
• Comfortable with debugging software on Linux
• Clear communicator and strong collaborator 

Nice to haves:

• Background in Automation
• Raspberry Pi Experience
• Familiarity with Docker
• Knowledge of industrial automation protocols
• Experience with cloud computing (preferably AWS)
