This allows us to simplify common automation tasks, while also supporting more advanced paths for specialised workflows, in a fast, flexible, and cost-efficient way.We are looking for a Staff Platform Engineer whose mission is to be an enabler for our application developers and hardware engineers to deliver value to our end users in a faster, more reliable and easier manner.

Why is this role important for Automata?

We're building a platform team to empower our software and hardware teams making automation a reality for every lab.-Without observability for our hardware, improved CI/CD for our software team and reliability of either, we're not going to earn the trust of our customers to chose Automata for their labs.-We're using terraform and CI/CD already, so you won't start from scratch, but the data and observability aspect is a greenfield project we need your support with.In this role you will be responsible for:

• Observability, data-lake implementation
• CI/CD
• Evanglising and training of engineers to own delivery themselves.

What it takes:

• 2+ years experience with Terraform.
• 2+ years with AWS.
• 2+ years of experience as software engineer.
