We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Electro-Mechanical Assembly/Test operative to work as a key member of our Robot Service Department.

The role can be broken down into the following core responsibilities: 

  • Setting up, maintaining, and owning the Robot Service Area 
  • Receiving robots When they are sent back from customers
  • Diagnosing problems using our work instructions and service tools
  • Following diagnosis, completing detailed disassembly, re-assembly work and test to ensure the robot is now functional
  • Correct use of our ERP system when dealing with parts 
  • Completing job cards and updating the service board 
  • Packaging and Dispatching Robots back to Customers

What we want to see from you:

  • An interest in our product, product area and a willingness to learn are essential
  • Ability to deal with manual handling within HSE Guidelines
  • Experience of working in a high-quality assembly environment using hand tools, meters and task-specific software to complete assembly and diagnosis tasks
  • A can-do attitude and a positive approach to work, including good timekeeping, self-discipline and lots of motivation to get the job done
  • Excellent verbal communication and the ability to relate ideas and observations to coworkers to help improve our performance
