We are looking for a Logistics and Supply Chain Coordinator whose mission is to be To ensure the accurate and timely management of stock and logistics to support smooth operations and project delivery.
Why is this role important for Automata?
The current key members need to focus on strategic tasks like procurement, production planning, and supplier management. Meanwhile, logistics has become increasingly complex, managing international shipments, compliance documents, stock accuracy, and tight timelines requires dedicated attention to avoid delays and errors.
In this role you will be responsible for:
40% Logistics Management
- Coordinating transportation
- Documentation
- Warehousing
- Recording costs
40% Stock Management
- Weekly cycle count
- Order book
- Maintaining service contracts and ERP accuracy
10% Invoices & 10% Weekly reporting in relation to roles and responsibilities.
What it takes:
Inventory Management: Proficient in inventory control and optimisation techniques, familiarity with inventory management systems like SAP, Unleashed, or similar.
Logistics Coordination: Experience in coordinating transportation, warehousing, and distribution activities.
Communication Skills: Effective verbal and written communication for collaboration with teams and suppliers.
Attention to Detail: Ensures accuracy in inventory records and regulatory compliance.
Data Analysis Skills: Ability to analyse inventory data and generate actionable insights.
