We are looking for a Supply Chain Specialist whose mission is to be Drive the US supply chain and process ensuring projects delivered on time, at the right cost while delivery continuous improvement
Responsibilities:
• Independently leads sourcing activities for different categories including 1st party hardware, 3rd party instrumentation as well as service agreements ensuring accurate project costing, value for money, risk mitigation, and on-time delivery.
• Owns performance and risk management for critical suppliers, driving corrective actions, preparing QBR data, and proactively improving quality, cost, and service.
• Supports supplier contract discussions, interpreting legal feedback and guiding negotiations with sound commercial judgement.
• Owns end-to-end procurement execution.
• Uses pricing tools, purchasing forecasts, and data analysis to drive informed commercial decisions, improving accuracy and margin visibility.
• Applies procurement compliance requirements with sound judgement, ensuring alignment with ISO9001 standards and internal controls.
• Leads procurement workstreams within cross-functional projects, managing stakeholders through influence, clarity, collaboration and delivery reliability, including Customer Experience, Pre-Sales, Engineering, and Finance.
• Oversees and optimises inventory control processes, aligning stock levels, managing minimum stock levels with operational demand while reducing waste and excess holding costs.
• Owns cost tracking and variance analysis within area of responsibility, identifying savings opportunities and driving margin improvement initiatives.
• Oversees ERP accuracy, ensuring accurate supply chain reporting for leadership, including month-end requirements.
• Supports training and development for supply chain team members.
• Travel up to 10%.

Essential Skills & Experience:
5 to 8 years in within Procurement
2 years managerial experience
A hands on manager, who is willing to problem solve
Supplier management
Budgeting experience
Material management
Nice to Have:
Experience within Biotech and Pharma
Working within a start-up or scale-up business
CIPS Qualified
Manufacturing experience
Worked to ISO9001 standards
